We are at that point of the year when the veils are said to be at their thinnest. Traditionally, in many cultures this has been a time to remember and honour the ancestors.
Our ancestors are not just human. We are totally interrelated to all of the plants and animals on this beautiful planet. We have largely forgotten this. This forgetting of the deep interconnectedness of life, the interwoven nature of reality enables us as a species to wreak havoc on this planet. Yet it isn’t only ours.
On November 1st, I’m offering a ceremony to honour our ancestors. Not just the human ones, though of course they are an important aspect of this. We will call in and acknowledge as ancestors, the trees and plants, the animals, fish, birds. we will include the nature spirits and the mer-people, dragons and lineages of mythic realms that hold energetic DNA, that shows up for us as junk.
We will expand our into the cosmos and call in the starry ancestry that contributed their DNA to this experiment in consciousness.
This will enable us to build a vast field of acceptance of ourselves as much more than human, honouring all strands of our ancestry
In this honouring and acceptance lies magic. At these points in the yearly calendar which our ancestors marked, we call upon the forces of creation to assist us in opening to and receiving the gifts and potentials buried deep in the genes we have inherited. In remembering our total interconnectedness, with the web of life, we activate its possibilities within us.
This gateway of Samhain, moving from the end of the harvest toward the depths of Winter here in the northern hemisphere, offers us a beautiful opportunity. One where we move between words to access intelligence, wisdom, guidance and healing for ourselves and the planetary collective. The gratitude we extend through time and across dimensions opens doorways for us. Portals through which energies transmit in ways not available at other times of the year.
This honouring of all of our ancestors, extending out across the planet, and deep into distant star systems and Galaxies weaves us back into wholeness at individual and collective levels.
Last weekend Venus appeared to dive into the heart of the sun. This symbolises for us a heart expansion. A cleansing and purification that allows for s deepening and opening.
We will include this in our ceremony as it is just getting underway and is a truly significant point in our evolution. The collective and personal heart is still contained by much conditioning, habit and density. Yet it is ready to expand beyond what we currently recognise. I have a persistent image of an internal, heart centred explosion happening for millions across the planet. Like watching a quiet nuclear detonation, but it is happening inside us. The soft blast waves extending out across the earth, meeting the waves of energy emanation for others in the same process.
You may be feeling a sense of pressure or containment at the moment. Tension in shoulders, throat, diaphragm. A desire to breathe deep, almost gulping air. This might be how the heart constriction is showing up for you.
In tomorrow’s ceremony we are going to give time to the dismantling of yet more layers of density and conditions. I know, it seems never ending. This programming runs deep and holds tight. We are moving through it quickly and purposefully.
We’re going to give space to the explosion/expansion that is underway, and allow it to really move through us. We are not bound by the appearances and circumstances we find ourselves in. Working at energetic levels, with love, gratitude and focused intent have more power than we currently understand.
We are coming back to the understandings.
