We are currently experiencing a rare astrological opportunity. It is being written and talked about by many, so I will keep the details to a minimum. It does seem to provide us with a huge opportunity. All week long, as planets slip into their position, I have felt more and more energy building. In my body. It’s like an electric current that strengthens each day, feeling incredibly positive and buoyant. I am experiencing many inner shifts as a result.
You may be sensing many issues coming to a head, or rising to the surface again, when you thought you had dealt with them. This is a powerful point and can be utilised to clear much old energy.
Barbaults basket is not a magic wand. Our world will not transform over night. Everything will not be made wonderful for us. As always, our input, effort and willingness dictate how and what comes to us as a result of this planetary configuration.
The fine astrologer Stephanie Austin of ecoastrlogy.com tell us,

“July 18 to 23 Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all around 5º (within 9 seconds of arc), forming a rare configuration termed a cradle pattern, which consists of one opposition, two trines, and three sextiles. Oppositions call for balance and integration, while sextiles and trines support creative outlets, innovations, and flow. This combination is bookmarked by Uranus sextile Neptune on July 15 and and Neptune sextile Pluto on July 25, with its peak occurring  on July 20, as Jupiter forms its exact opposition to Pluto.

This rare configuration is also known as Barbault’s Basket, named after Andre Barbault, whose innovative analysis of astrological cycles predicted the 2020 pandemic, the 2008 economic crisis, and the fall of the USSR in 1989 decades before they occurred. He considered this configuration to mark a civilizational turning point and the beginning of a more constructive era, instituting major shifts in leadership. On a personal level, those with natal planets or angles around 5º of Aries, Gemini, Leo, and Aquarius will experience the strongest tailwinds for transformation.”

I purposely haven’t looked at videos or read much around this  topic, though I knew we would be focused on it this weekend. Last night I sat to meditate. The basket or cradle immediately came into view, and became the basket the carried Moses down the Nile.
Immediately I understood that we can utilise the energies of this pattern to help set ourselves free. Nothing can happen for us, major change cannot come, not personally or collectively until we give up what binds us.
As I continued to meditate, the pattern formed by the planets became the holding pattern of the field we generate when we gather together. It will strongly amplify our personal and collective intentions. The energy of Moses was present. He has shown up before when dealing with slavery issues, and this is one of those moments. The opportunity to give up our addiction to what enslaves us. Often we are unconscious of those addictions. They may have been humming away quietly in the background for years, so this astrology will help us to become aware, and gather fortitude and impetus to make a shift.
The addictions could  be a substance or a relationship. It could be a pattern or attitude we run habitually. Identitity structures become huge addictions we don’t realise we hold.
Collectively, it could be said we are addicted to the systems, politics and policies that currently run our worlds, with such devastating impact.
Moses energy hold a template of freedom. He will work with us to install the template into our system if we are wiling.
This astrological pattern imprinting itself into collective consciousness has the potential to shift our trajectory. It is up to us to seize the opportunity for ourselves and help make the energies more readily available to others by actively grounding it on the planet into collective fields.
