Pluto has very recently moved into Aquarius. Much has been written about this major shift in energy for our planet. Historically, rebirth and revolution have been key elements of this transit.
I was in South Africa when this astrological event actually happened. I was sort of stunned to see how my life was playing out the energies of the transit. In the days leading up to the 19th November, when the transit took place, I was in death mode. Old constructs were surfacing in my system and falling away. We were visiting many powerful sacred sites, conducting simple ceremonies which deepened connection, amplified energy and really emphasised what was being experienced. There were so many simple but profound events on this journey. I will try to communicate as many of them as is possible. Some were initiatory and do lend themselves to energetic transmission. One, in particular was an initiation offered by the bat. On the 18th November we tracked to a deep cave, quite difficult to get to, and largely unknown. The cave extended maybe 50 meters into the rock face and was another wonderful feminine portal. A sacred space used for ceremony for thousands of yers, but left undisturbed and mainly unexplored by archeologists and modern humans.
Entering into this place we were greeted by the strong acrid odour of bat shit, guano. Moving in a little deeper we disturbed hundreds of bats, who flew around us for much of the time we were in the cave. I was amazed at the softness of their energy. Silent, apart from the few audible squeaks from young. Their wings make no sound as they fly without touching each other or us, even though they came within inches. It felt like the softest of blessings, the slight wave of air as they passed close by. As I meditated in that space, one of the strongest impressions was for me an awareness of the extreme, by our standards, extra sensory perceptions the bats employ. We were in the cave for almost 2 hrs, so I felt immersed in their energy. Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old, and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of initiation, and the start of a new beginning. Their disappearance into the cave at daybreak, and emergence again at dusk is seen as a rebirth. They ability to navigate with complete precision, see the unseen, gives us the association with the hidden realms, clairvoyance and clairaudience.
The next day, we visited Cathedral Rock, named because from some angles that is what it resembles. It is actually another amazing vaginal portal. I wrote about this in my last newsletter, so won’t repeat myself here. This was the day of Plutos transit, and it was for me a complete journey that i was invited to make quite consciously. I had to agree to every step. The moving out through the portal into the ocean beyond, representing a deep immersion in the cosmos open from which we are all born. I played there with such delight. I felt like a child again. At one point there was a moment of deep surrender to the possibility of not returning, then I was called back through the portal. Back into life, leaving all of my regrets and sorrows behind.
The whole journey has felt like a reset, just as Pluto’s transit represents an opportunity for a profound planetary reset. When I asked if we were offering a teleconference this weekend, immediately, images of this experience began to flow, entwined with the energy of Pluto and the sign of Aquarius. We will also invite the energy of the bat tribe to work with us, deepening the transformative potential and amplifying the possibility of an unveiling within each of us, a revolution in our relationship with the unseen realms.
So, together with the immense support of our guiding team and higher selves, we will create a portal of death and rebirth, and immerse ourselves in that. We will enter into the cosmic ocean and be cleansed. We will ride on the energies of the powerful astrological transit and grant ourselves the opportunity of a rebirth.
